Weekly Recap April 14th: Bully Hunters Muckraked And Exposed, Crunchyroll Tries To Avoid Mulcting
Weekly Recap April 14th 2018
(Last Updated On: April 14, 2018)

What a week of news. Just when you thought it was safe to go back onto Twitter, the Social Justice Sharks rear their heads once more, this time under the guise of the BullyHunters. Well, that’s assuming that you actually believe the BullyHunters was actually anything more than just a scam to sell headsets.

It turns out that it was just a honey pot for losers looking for a new pair of SteelSeries headsets. Because as we all know, there’s no better way to combat harassment than to get a new pair of headsets and fight with those 12-year-old straight shotas who has been raping your mom and forcing your dad to suck his little pecker.

In addition to BullyHunters getting exposed, there was also CrunchyRoll attempting to avoid FTC fines by deleting evidence of false advertisement. I kid you not, they thought they could weasel their way out of responsibility like a dude who changing his last name to avoid child support after knocking up a chick because his dollar store condom broke during a one night stand.

These ridiculous stories and more in this April 14th, 2018 edition of the Weekly Recap.

Midboss CEO Gets Ousted After Another Sexual Misconduct Accusation Arises

After the original CEO got ousted from GaymerX and the indie company Midboss for sexual misconduct, the interim CEO, Toni Rocca, was also ousted for sexual misconduct just shortly after being given the position. In the SocJus camp, it’s basically one long limousine ride of misconduct. Newsweek decided that they had nothing important to write about so they decided to pick a fight with Paradox Interactive, claiming that the company’s free weekend for Crusader Kings II promoted Alt-Right terminology because they used a millennium old phrase “Deus Vult” in a tweet. And one developer decided to spend his opportunity at GDC telling other indie devs how to game the system and manipulate votes on Reddit.

ResetERA Tries To Start Boycott Of Play-Asia

ResetERA, the autistic version of NeoGaf with arse cancer, attempted to start a boycott of Play-Asia. Why? Because Play-Asia called out the pathetic parasites in gaming known as SJWs. And speaking of SJWs, two SJWs attempted to smear a developer by claiming that the developer attempted to tea-bag a female game journalist, even though the developer is saying that it never happened since they came to PAX with pre-recorded footage. The SKSE64 tool has finally entered into the beta phase of development for Skyrim mod makers. And Capcom has two Mega Man X collections on the way, which has rubbed some fans the wrong way given that they would have preferred having all of the games in one big bundle pack.

Crunchyroll Enters Next Censorship Phase Of DanMachi Memoria Freese

After being called out for censoring the Western release of DanMachi Memoria Freese, Crunchyroll decided to scrub the internet of any evidence of false advertisement by deleting the video from their YouTube channel. Gamers, however, spotted the removal of the video and called out Crunchyroll on their attempt to erase the evidence showing that they falsely advertised a feature that they had no intentions of releasing in the Western release of DanMachi Memoria Freese. Richard C. Meyer from Diversity & Comics has started his own comic book called Jawbreakers and it’s currently seeking funds over on IndieGoGo, where it will likely trigger SJWs to no end. An infographic shows the evolution of the Glorious PC Master Race, and how they’ve acquired more than 1 million subscribers over the last seven years. Ryan Stewart has a guide on how to get your gaming addiction under control, and Microsoft will unveil Forza Horizon 4 at E3 2018 this year during the Xbox press conference.

#GamerGateHD False Flag Brings Out The Trolls

A false flag trolling attempt from the GNAA and Ayyteam came to fruition following the tea-bagging incident at PAX East and the uprising of the scam-outfit known as Bully Hunters. The trolls co-opted a small habitat on the far side of Twitter under the hashtag #GamerGateHD. Some sad news on the Kickstarter front, as the developers for Agony announced that the game will release censored due to restrictions set upon them by Sony and Microsoft. However, PC gamers will be able to experience the full version of Agony uncensored. A review for Extinction is now live and it’s not good news. The game got eviscerated in the scores and for good reason. And after several years of providing gamers and the marketplace at large with invaluable sales data from Steam, Steam Spy is now no longer functional following a privacy update from Valve.

Bullyhunters Exposed

A swindling serenade of surrogate justice handed out by supposed digital vigilantes of the gaming age have been exposed. The Bullyhunters gig was orchestrated by a group working with SteelSeries to sell some gear at the expense of #GamerGate. It didn’t quite work out that way, though, and Bullyhunters got exposed more than Tara Reid’s floppy, flaccid fun-bag back when she was allowed to walk the red carpet. Platinum Paragon did a breakdown of the incident and Top Hats & Champagne put together a typical drama-filled video to round out the madness of the staged escapade gone wrong. On the lighter side of the news at least there’s a Shenmue HD collection in the works for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. THQ Nordic is skipping E3 2018 this year, but they will be attending GamesCom in Cologne, Germany. And the microtransactions in Star Wars: Battlefront II are coming back.
