Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Not Coming To Nintendo Switch, According To Devs

As part of a roundtable discussion with media outlets during the official reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch’s senior producer Yale Miller told Twinfinite that the game isn’t coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The outlet asked if Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 would be headed to the Nintendo Switch in any capacity, and Miller stated “No there is not.”

This is as clear-cut as it gets in terms of whether or not the game is coming to the Switch this year. I suppose Nintendonites can also give up begging for the game on Twitter and YouTube. Activision isn’t listening, and they certainly don’t care.

At the end of the day Activision wants that loot box cash, and the company is going to cut every corner imaginable in order to leverage revenue from the Battle Royale market that Epic Games has now taken control of with Fortnite. PUBG Corporation used to be the top of the crop but they sacrificed their lead to kowtow to Social Justice Warriors, wasting time on absolutely asinine things like redoing assets for the cameltoe that appeared on the female panties, and trying to make sure SJWs were appeased.

Epic Games decided to actually focus on making Fortnite better, and it’s no surprise that they’ve continued to grow and expand their userbase. But then again that could all come crashing down to a screeching halt now that they’re pursuing the e-sports community with $100 million in prize pool opportunities. It’s not just the money, but how they claim they’ll be approaching the e-sports community, where they mention in a blog post on the official Epic Games website…

“We’re getting behind competitive play in a big way, but our approach will be different – we plan to be more inclusive, and focused on the joy of playing and watching the game.”

Companies that claim to want to be “inclusive” have 100% of the time proven to be exclusionary, racist, bigoted, and fascist.

A prime example of this behavior is with Blizzard Entertainment and the Overwatch League, where people are regularly banned and “actioned” for things they do outside of the game. Some players were even reprimanded for using emotes during Twitch streams and reproached for sharing an image of Pepe the Frog on their Twitter account.

As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the game is due out this October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Nintendo Switch owners won’t have to worry about the game flooding their system for whatever reason Treyarch decided to pass up on the Switch version. Maybe Nintendo users are less likely to fall for the loot box addiction and PS4 and Xbox One gamers are? Either way, you can look for the derivative shooter to launch this fall.
