Solo: A Star Wars Story co-writer Jonathan Kasdan recently told the Huffington Post in an interview that Lando Calrissian has been turned into a pansexual.
When directly asked by Bill Bradley if Lando was pansexual, Kasdan replied saying…
“I would say yes […] There’s a fluidity to Donald and Billy Dee’s [portrayal of Lando’s] sexuality,” Kasdan continued. “I mean, I would have loved to have gotten a more explicitly LGBT character into this movie. I think it’s time, certainly, for that, and I love the fluidity ― sort of the spectrum of sexuality that Donald appeals to and that droids are a part of.”
“He doesn’t make any hard and fast rules. I think it’s fun. I don’t know where it will go.”
Social Justice Warriors have been trying to force Tumblr-culture into both the vernacular and the entertainment medium by retconning character stories and biographies, as well as force-feeding these trends into pop-culture through factitious means.
Using culturally pliable actors such as Donald Glover and popular media properties such as Star Wars, Disney has managed to leverage a vehicle to push and normalize aberrant behavior from from the deviant-side of the internet into more normalized public spaces.
This bit of news has also been circulating around with rumors that Disney has been discussing a possible Lando spin-off. However, that likely won’t happen if the Han Solo movie tanks at the box office.
The biggest drawback to the Solo film so far is that the lead actor, Alden Ehrenreich, looks, acts, and sounds nothing like Harrison Ford, which is an immersion-breaking and jarring element to the film. It’s also difficult to suspend disbelief when Harrison Ford’s take on the character is still very fresh in the minds of moviegoers. Disney should have hired in Anthony Ingruber to at least give people the impression that they’re watching a younger Ford.
Nevertheless, for those of you planning on seeing Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters, just know that this all ties into supporting the Leftist agenda.
