BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Releases On PS4 And Switch, But PC Port Has Some Hiccups

Arc System Works’ BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is out now for PC via Steam, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Although the game stirred up the hornet’s nest in the past for its DLC practices, the game has frustrated some PC users due to port issues at launch.

Cross Tag Battle is available to play on Switch and PS4, and while the fighting game is on PC, the port seems to be a sub-par one for some owners.

Nevertheless, there are some PC owners of Cross Tag Battle that found workarounds, but not all of them fix laggy input, the full-screen issue, or how the game sometimes runs at 20fps and below.

If you are new and wish to get into the game for either of the three platforms, it seems that Cross Tag Battle offers fun experiences besides its PC problems according to some owners of the game. However, don’t take my word for it, you can instead read the official description and watch two trailers to shape your mind right here:

“THE COLLISION IS INEVITABLE! THE IMPACT WILL BE UNAVOIDABLE! Cross over between 4 different universes! Play as characters from the BlazBlue, Persona, Under Night In-Birth, and (for the first time ever in a fighting game), RWBY series!”

Moreover, Cross Tag Battle brings an “all-star” collaboration between BlazBlue, Atlus’ Persona, French Bread’s Under Night In-Birth, and Rooster Teeth’s RWBY web series, and actuates it all in fast-paced 2 Vs.2 team battles filled with the usual BlazBlue stuff.

Lastly, if you are a fan of the series and wish to pick up Cross Tag Battle, it’s best to wait for the devs to fix the PC version to avoid any headaches. However, the developers are aware of the PC port issues (like Shini) and are asking users questions to address the situation.
