Capcom has shared a new video of Mega Man X Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2’s X Challenge Mode. If you are up for the challenge and seek to take on two big chumps at the same time, then late July awaits you.
Capcom previously announced that all eight Mega Man X games would come to the most recent platforms through Mega Man X Legacy Collection (featuring Mega Man X, X2, X3, and X4) and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 (sporting Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8). However, a new blog post on capcom-unity.com reads that both collections come equipped with the new X Challenge Mode.
In addition to this X Challenge Mode, it allows players to select three difficulty options, a specific loadout and go head-to-head with two bosses from various X games at once. You can check out the new trailer below.
If you don’t know, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will launch digitally only for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on July 24th across the West for $19.99 / €19.99 / £15.99.

In addition to the above, this version will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch for $39.99. Both versions of PS4 and Xbox One will include a disc for each collection.
