Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Version To Head West On September 28th

Not too long ago, we learned that Bandai Namco and Arc System Works would one day release Dragon Ball FighterZ on the Switch, a game that released worldwide on PC and home consoles early this year on January 26th, 2018, and we now learn that its release is set for September 18th, 2018, on Nintendo’s nifty device.

Are you a fan of Dragon Ball FighterZ? If so, and you haven’t purchased the game yet or wish to support it on a Nintendo platform, you only have a few months to go before it drops on Switch. Below lies the older announcement trailer of Dragon Ball FighterZ for said platform:

The above information comes in thanks to a memo that Bandai Namco sent out regarding Arc System’s fighting game. Additionally, the memo notes that the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch in the West (North America and Europe) on September 28th.

“The critically acclaimed DRAGON BALL FighterZ is now bringing its spectacular fights and all-powerful warriors to NINTENDO SWITCH. Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high-end Anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay. And on top of being playable on-the-go, this NINTENDO SWITCH version also includes its share of exclusive features.”

Furthermore, folks who pre-order the game will be rewarded with two bonuses that grant instant access to Goku (SSGSS) and Vegeta (SSGSS), and the Japanese version of the classic SNES game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden.

We also learn the Switch version sports an “Extreme Type” control setup. This feature makes it easy to whip out special moves using the Joy-Con layout. The Switch version also supports shared or one Joy-Con per player, too.
