RemiLore, Anime-Style Diablo Clone Announced For PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Nicalis announced that RemiLore: Lost Girl In The Lands of Lore will launch this upcoming winter for $39.99 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. The developers at Pixellore and Remimory are working on expanding the game’s graphics and visual designs while implementing their own unique color scheme.

The game centers around a schoolgirl named Remi, who ends up encountering an ancient magical book called Lore. They team up together and end up in the world of Ragnoah, where mecha-monsters reign supreme. Yes, when demon monsters from the outer-realm aren’t enough, and mechanized rampant AI robots can’t get the job done, mechanized demon monsters from the 12th dimension will surely get the job done.

Remi and her grimoire venture about Ragnoah both to find a way home and defeat the mega-monsters. Remi is accompanied by a blonde chick who can help her along the way as well, who happens to be an android waifu named “Choux”.

The gameplay for RemiLore is played out as a twin-stick rogue-lite with hack-and-slash combat. You can see what the gameplay is like with the announcement trailer below.

The gameplay is lightning fast, as players will play as Remi and her companion, either in single-player or two-player co-op action.

The game could best be described as a Japanese Diablo clone. The coloring and visuals are quite vibrant, so that the game readily stands out from the other competition out there. It features a mix of both magic and melee oriented combat, with Remi and her android pal capable of collecting more than 200 different weapons.

It’s also a lot faster than Diablo, honing in on that bullet-hell DNA that the Japanese have perfected over the years, both at the arcade and on home consoles.

And to top it all off, both Remi and Choux can collect brand new outfits so you can dress them up as you please. They’re really looking to cash in on the cosplay community with that one.

A lot of the gamers in the comment section are all-in on RemiLore, and as usual there are plenty of Nintendonites claiming that they will get the game day-one when it releases this winter.
