The Farm 51 Shows More World War 3 Equipment, Gameplay Trailer Coming Soon

If you’re cautiously excited to see more of World War 3 — although we’ll get to see gameplay of The Farm 51’s upcoming online first-person shooter late August at Gamescom 2018 — you’ll be able to learn a little bit more about the game ahead of its August showing. With that said, The Farm 51 released two short clips showing soldier equipment and a tank and announced that a gameplay trailer is coming soon.

Firstly, the newest videos showing off WW3 contains two short clips. The first video offers a “little sneak peek” into The Farm 51’s barracks containing a GROM soldier getting ready for a fight. It’s worth noting, though, that the video below does not represent the full game in that it’s early footage. We know this because one of the developers noted that the soldier’s finger is not supposed to be on the trigger and the option to wear a balaclava is absent in the following video:

After showing folks different camo on a GROM soldier, The Farm 51 wanted to give fans a quick look at things to come regarding vehicles. The last of the two videos shows the tank hangar containing the mighty Leopard.

Furthermore, we learn from Kamil Bilczyński, creative director and head of World War 3, that The Farm 51 presented unpublished material of the game at E3 2018 for the first time to technology partners, business people, and influencers, who got to participate in beta-tests.

Bilczyński claims that the crew of gamers and business people gave WW3 a warm reception and can confirm that there’s “huge interest in World War 3” among players.

The good news is that, whether you are leery or looking forward to World War 3, there will be a gameplay trailer coming out sometime soon. Thanks to Twitter user Duran, we learn the following answer:

WW3 will go through an early access phase, which is assumed to be a beta set for July or August. This phase will be open to players for feedback and refinement on PC via Steam. Lastly, if you haven’t watched the teaser or announcement trailers, you can learn more about this game by heading over to worldwar3.com.
