Grand Kokoro – Episode 1, Boys’ Love Visual Novel Now Available On Steam
Grand Kokoro

Fans of otome VNs and boys’ love romantic stories are probably excited to learn that Seram Studios’ Grnad Kokoro – Episode 1 is currently available over on the Steam store for $4.99.

The kinetic visual novel is a tragic romance tale themed around a character named Elijah, who is a clinically depressed and suicidal young man who is unstable and believes that he can’t live a normal life. This is because Elijah is a SUR, a survivor of the Colonnade.

In the town of Crown Crest the Colonnade was a symbol of unification until its collapse, which fractured the city and create a steep social divide between the classes. Those who survived the Colonnade incident are labeled by others as having SUR fever, which they believe rots the mind and causes hallucinations and suicidal thoughts.

The game centers around Elijah’s dark secrets, as well as his attempts to overcome the SUR fever with the help of his friends. However, memories of the collapse and the violence that ensued continue to plague Elijah, deteriorating his sanity and mental health.

Elijah’s friend Lucien attempts to use his power and family influence to keep them safe, but even he has a dark secret.

Heck, these characters all seem to have more dark secrets in their lives than Anthony Weiner had dark web porn sites bookmarked on his wife’s laptop.

Anyway, the first episode of Grand Kokoro is only around five hours in length, features 20 original songs, and has a kinetic plot so you won’t be able to make choices that affect the outcome of the ending.

Basically this is designed for those who enjoy those soy-soft style otome and boys’ love visual novels that are popular with chicks in Japan and gay dudes in the States.

You can pick up a digital copy of the game from the Steam store for $4.99.
