The company Jabra released both Jabra Active 65t and Jabra Elite Active 65t 3rd generation wireless earbuds to the public earlier this year. The difference between the two earbuds, beside the price, is that the Jabra Elite 65t are priced at $170, whereas the Jabra Elite Active 65t are priced at $190. The Jabra Elite 65t is geared more towards the casual music listener, while the Jabra Elite Active 65t is geared more toward the hardcore enthusiasts.

Now let’s discuss what both wireless earbuds have to offer: according to the official website, both earbuds support the languages- English, German, French, Chinese, and Japanese. The Elite 65t earbuds are available in the colors Titanium Black, Copper Black, and Gold Beige, the Elite Active 65t are available in Copper Blue, and Copper Red.

A non-magnetic compact charging case is included which charges on Micro USB 2.0 type -B, and gives a battery life up to 5 hours, with 2 extra hours in the charging case. The Elite 65t have a IP55 rating for water and dust resistant, while the Elite Active 65t has a IP65 rating for sweat, water and dust resistant. Three earbud sizes are provided with each having silicone tips.

Let’s talk about sound: the earbuds features 4-microphones, users can personalize the right amount of volume, and noise cancellation through the Jabra app. Users can also set-up voice commands with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant, adjust the volume for audio calls and music, and the music adjustment has an equalizer level for adjusting the bass and treble. The right earbud can be used by itself for mono audio and calls, while the left one cannot.
