Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 And 2 Now Available For PC, PS4, Xbox One, And Switch

Capcom has released both Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2. The game collection has become available as of July 24th across PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

First and foremost, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will launch physically and digitally for PS4 and Switch, and digitally only for Xbox One and PC on July 26th in Japan.

Secondly, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 have launched digitally only for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch across the West for $19.99 / €19.99 / £15.99.

If you don’t know, Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 contains Mega Man X, X2, X3, and X4, and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 contains X5, X6, X7, and X8.

In North America, fans can also grab a console bundle at retail for $39.99 that includes a disc for each collection on PS4 and Xbox One. For Nintendo Switch, the pack will include a cartridge with the first collection and a digital download voucher (digital download) for the second collection.

All-new multi-boss challenges – X Challenge Mode allows players to select three difficulty options, a specific loadout and go head-to-head with two bosses from various X games at once. The new game mode also features an online leaderboard.

Improved visuals and toggles – Options for a monitor filter that simulates CRT televisions is a thing, and a smooth filter will be available for a clean look.

Museum of the era – Go back in time and discover the history of the X series with each collection’s massive repo of original art, catalogs of collectible merchandise, the music of original tunes, and a fully voiced and animated short film that serves as a prologue to the events of Mega Man X.
