Monster Hunter: World Coming To PC Via Steam On August 9th

Capcom has revealed the PC launch date for Monster Hunter: World which is August 9th. Early next month will be the time when World will be available to play via Steam, whereas the console versions on PS4 and Xbox One are available to pick up right now.

If you’re a fan of Monster Hunter: World, make sure to mark your calendar for August 9th, because that is the day when Capcom will have it go up for public consumption as listed below.

First and foremost, upon pre-ordering the PC version of the game, you will receive the Origin Set and the Fair Wind Charm. If you want to know what both have to offer their descriptions lie below:

Origin Set:

The Origin Set armor is a nostalgic must-have for series fans. This full armor set (head, chest, arms, waist, and legs) comes with enough defense to carry you through the early quests, and also features plenty of skills useful for gathering.

And as promised, the Fair Wind Charm description reads:

Fair Wind Charm:

The Fair Wind charm carries a skill that increases your attack power and one that adds a chance of reducing the damage you take. The charm also has a nice visual impact, as equipping it will add a glowing aura effect to your left arm!

Next up comes the Digital Deluxe edition. Like any other special edition, World includes a plethora of content for buyers. Additionally, this consists of gestures, stickers, face paint, and more:

The Digital Deluxe edition also includes the Samurai set, but no weapons are included.

In addition to the Samurai set, it will change the look of your armor without changing the properties underneath, which means you can equip this set over any armor.

And the last part of the Digital Deluxe edition offers the following:

  • Gesture: Zen
  • Gesture: Ninja Star
  • Gesture: Sumo Slap
  • Sticker Set: MH All-Stars Chat Set
  • Sticker Set: Sir Loin Chat Set
  • Face Paint: Wyvern
  • Hairstyle: Topknot
