Netflix’s Voltron Turns The Main Character Gay

Voltron Legendary Defender

Netflix has basically just abandoned all restraint and have gone all-in on the LGBTQIA agenda. The long-running show Voltron: Legendary Defender just recently revealed that the main character, Takashi “Shiro” Shirogane is being turned gay for the seventh season.

Digital Spy is reporting that during the Comic-Con panel, show-running Lauren Montgomery stated…

“I think the important thing is maybe allow the fans to see what they want to see. We don’t want to put anyone into a corner where it’s like – So other people feel like they’re not represented.”

This was backed up with a tweet from the official Voltron account, which hammered home that Shiro is definitely gay.

The typical frail-hearts of Twitter obviously supported the move.

This is yet another piece of media aimed at young people where the main character is gay. Recently it was revealed that CW will receive a Batwoman TV series that will center around her lesbianism and fight for social justice. And no, that’s not an interpretation of the show’s description, it’s literally in the show’s description.

That’s not to mention that Steven Universe just recently had a lesbian wedding, and given the new She-Ra and the Princesses of Power having a more masculine and androgynous design, many assume that she, too, might be turned into a lesbian.

At this point it’s almost hard to keep track of how many characters are either being turned gay or being made the lead of a show aimed at young people. Of course, you’re only going to hear praises and adoration from the media because it’s all part of the agenda.
