If you’re interested in Shining Resonance Refrain, Sega has released the game for public consumption on PC, PS4, Xbox One and switch. To accompany its release comes the official launch trailer for you to look over.
Firstly, the localization of Shining Resonance Refrain will not contain any form of censorship and the release of the game in the West — which is out now — is said by Sega to be uncensored.
Joining Shining Resonance Refrain’s newly posted launch trailer comes an overview or description explaining what’s going on, which you can read below:
“Play as Yuma Ilvern and stop the Empire from exploiting the power of the ancient dragons, including the soul of the Shining Dragon within you. With the help of your friends, realize your destiny, save Astoria, and unleash the strength you’ve always had locked away.”
If you don’t know, Shining Resonance Refrain is the remastered version of the original Shining Resonance game that released for PS3 in Japan on December 11th, 2014.
Moreover, the localization of Refrain, as noted above, will not contain censorship, and the release of the game in the West is uncensored as it’s available for said platforms and consoles.
As for the price tag attached to Refrain, according to Sega, the game runs for $49.99. If you are into getting special versions of a game, the launch edition of Refrain on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch will grant access to a collectible metal slipcase, featuring the artwork of Excella, Sonia, and Kirika.
If none of the special versions of the game intrigue you, Shining Resonance Refrain is out now across PC via Steam (contains Denuvo), PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on July 10th. In Japan, the game launched on March 29th for PS4 and is now available in the West as of July 10th.
Lastly, a demo of this game released back in June on consoles.
