Soul Calibur VI Reveals Talim As A Playable Fighter

Bandai Namco has released a new Soul Calibur VI character trailer, and, as teased before, it’s Talim. She may be small, but she comes front-loaded in the speed department sporting technique that has no equal, with the talent of wind to vanquish all evil.

If you’re a fan of Talim and the stage of history, there’s good news for you in that Soul Calibur VI will have the speedy dual-elbow blade wielding Talim to pick from in the ever-expanding roster.

If you want to see her in action twirling her dangerous weapons around and correcting those who’ve been acting badly with her apt ability being the last Priestess of the Winds, you can by watching her reveal trailer below:

“Talim, the Last Priestess of the Winds, returns to the stage of history when SOULCALIBUR VI arrives on PS4, X1, and PC on Oct. 19th! Wielding her dual elbow blades and Wind Dance fighting style, she vowed to protect the world!”

If you don’t know, Talim spent her entire life on an island (the Village of the Wind Deity), until the day a mysterious person arrived carrying a shard of Soul Edge itself. She could sense the danger of it just from the small shard and vowed to protect the world from evil by returning it to where it belongs, even if it meant leaving her village and family behind.

On her adventure, Talim must use her speed to best opponents she faces. Although she cannot surpass Taki in speed, Talim can match Taki and others with technique where she can use the battlefield as if it were a stage for waltzing.

If all of the above sounds like something you can get behind, you can look forward to assuming the Last Priestess of the Winds come October 19th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In the meantime, you can check out screenshots and artwork of her right here:
