The Vagrant, Busty Hand-Painted Action Game Launches On Steam For $3.99
The Vagrant

While every major Western developer are making their female characters ugly, unappealing, unattractive and uninteresting, indie developers are doing just the opposite. They’re making well-rounded (very rounded), unique, interesting and entertaining female characters in fun-filled games like The Vagrant.

If you enjoyed games like Vanillaware’s Odin Sphere or Dragon’s Crown, you’ll surely enjoy a game like O.T.K. Games’ The Vagrant. It originally entered into Early Access back in June, but it didn’t stay there for long. On July 13th, 2018 O.T.K. Games and SakuraGame announced that The Vagrant is currently available on the Steam store for just $3.99. During the first week of being on sale you can grab the title for 50% off, so you only have to pay $1.99 for the title.

It follows Vivian, the eponymous vagrant of the tale, who journeys through the hand-painted world of Mythrilia in order to unravel the mystery of her past and reunite with her family. Vivian is a bombshell and the plot is off the chain.

You can see what the gameplay is like with the trailer below.

The game has surprisingly good animations to be a low-budget indie title. The backgrounds are also expertly designed. You would be hard pressed to think that the game was some sort of indie affair. It’s not quite on the level of Vanillaware’s titles, but it’s certainly a lot higher in quality than what you would expect from a game that only costs $3.99.

The game does use flash animations, though, so that’s something to keep in mind. You can tell the developers put a lot of time and effort in making sure that Vivian’s boob jiggle wasn’t lazily done, though, which is very important to the overall enjoyment of the visuals.

The game itsefl features 70 different monsters to battle, six different hand-painted levels to traverse, and a number of weapons, accessories, and loot to acquire throughout the journey, along with a rather expansive skill tree in which to customize Vivian’s skills.

There are more than 10 bosses, crafting and enchanting, and the ability to revisit some of the areas to grind up your level or complete certain tasks.

You can pick up a digital copy of The Vagrant right now by visiting the Steam store page.
