Although THQ Nordic and Experiment 101 did not attend E3 2018 to show off their games, like BioMutant, the former company instead took to social media to inform gamers and fans alike on what to expect come August when Gamescom 2018 kicks-off.
Back during the month of May, THQ Nordic disclosed that they were doing something different and would skip E3 2018, opting instead to attend Gamescom and PAX West.
Staying true to the announcement made two months ago, THQ Nordic released a tweet that got buried during the E3 buzz, stating that BioMutant will not only appear at Gamescom 2018 but will be demoed, too.

Furthermore, attendees and viewers who are set to explore what riches Gamescom has in store will find that THQ Nordic will attend another games event set to run from the end of August into the beginning of September, which is PAX West:
“We are looking forward to presenting all our great upcoming games like Darksiders 3, Biomutant, Fade to Silence or Wreckfest and even some unannounced titles for the first time at gamescom in Cologne, Germany and shortly after at PAX West in Seattle!”
That’s right, fans looking to get a look at what Darksiders 3, Biomutant, Fade to Silence, Wreckfest and some unannounced titles have to offer will get it right then and there at both Gamescom and PAX West.
Speaking of BioMutant and Darksiders 3, the company could change their tentative 2018 launch to something else according to their May investor report. The statement made about the two games expected to launch this year reads that they are “still under evaluation for setting a release date,” as posted on thqnordic-investors.com.
Although both BioMutant and Darksiders 3 are expected by fans to release sometime in 2019, their Steam pages still list a release date of 2018. In other words, I’m sure the August events will further inform us about their gameplay mechanics and release date.
