Ubisoft Says The Division 2 Will Have A Solid Single-Player Experience

The Division hit the gaming scene back on March 8th, 2016, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As of now, the second game, The Divison 2, will hit the same platforms while sporting the same publisher, Ubisoft, and developer, Massive Entertainment, except this time around the next installment will have a “solid single-player” experience according to the publisher.

The Division launched with a lot of problems and had multiple patches and expansions attempting to rectify those issues. Fast-forward into the future and Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have opted for a sequel instead of sticking with trying to patch-work their way toward’s a better first game.

After The Division 2’s announcement was made on March 8th, the company stayed mum until June rolled around with E3. Now that we know a little bit more about the game, the devs opted to release even more info during an interview.

That’s right, publication site gamingbolt.com managed to catch The Division 2’s associate creative director, Chadi El-Zibaoui, and asked him about solo or single-player play and how will it pan out? El-Zibaoui response lies below:

“The title is entirely playable in solitary, even in-game activities. There will be certain activities, such as raids for eight people, and for this kind of challenges the users will be grouped with friends, but we have a very solid campaign, a deep narration and many mysteries.”

Although the game’s associate creative director admitted that there is a very solid campaign, a deep narration, and many “mysteries” to discover in The Division 2, he went on to say:

“Solo game lovers will have a lot of things to explore in the countryside, and from day one we will distribute content for all kinds of equipment, not just for hardcore fans, but also for those who enjoy playing on their own.”

The Division 2 will launch on March 15th, 2019, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
