Dell’s new Latitude 5290 laptop series offers 4 different 5290 series to choose from, each one offers additional options to add or upgrade certain components. Each Latitude 5290 series is 12.5-inches in display, with Windows 10 Pro, and for memory each series starts with 64-bit, 4GB, 1×4 GB, 2400MHz DDR4 Non-ECC. Moreover, each series also has the option of choosing additional memory, either 8GB, 1x8GB, 2400MHz DDR4 non-ECC, or 8GB 2x4GB, 2400MHz DDR4 non-ECC. The chipset is also integrated with the processor.
The general specifications that are offered on all the Latitude 5290 series features a 12.5-inch full HD screen with a resolution display of 1366 x 768, a Non-Touch LCD with a Mic/Camera , Wireless WAN capatible. As far as Ports on the 5290, all four offer 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (with PowerShare), 1 HDMI, 1VGA, 1 RJ-45 external uSIM card tray option, 1uSD 4.0 Memory card jack, 1 headset /mic combo jack, 1 optional contacted SmartCard reader and Touch Fingerprint Reader, along with 1 Display Port over USB type C, and 1 Noble Wedge Lock slot.
The processor, battery and hard drive options for the first Latitude 5290 series — starting at the hefty of price of $1,141 — offers an 8th Gen Intel Core i3-8130U (Dual Core, 4M Cache, 2.2GHz, 15W) with a 3 cell 42Whr ExpressCharge capable battery, and a 2.5-inch 500GB SATA 7200 RPM hard drive. Alternatively you can swap out the process for a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300U (Dual Core, 3M Cache, 2.6GHz, 15W, vPro.)
The second Latitude 5290 series starts at $1,425.72 offering a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300U (Dual Core, 3M Cache, 2.6GHz, 15W, vPro.) with a 3 cell 51Whr ExpressCharge capable battery, and a Hard Drive the same as the first Latitude 5290. The third Latitude 5290 series starts at $1,641.43 offering a 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U (Quad Core, 6M Cache, 1.7GHz, 15W, vPro) with a 4 cell 69Whr ExpressCharge capable battery, and an M.2 128GB SATA class 20 solid state drive. The fourth Latitude 5290 series starts at $1,841.43, offering an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U (Dual Core, 8M Cache, 1.9GHz, 15W, vPro.) with a 4 cell 68Whr ExpressCharge capable battery, and the Hard Drive of M.2 128GB SATA class 20 solid state drive.
