Postworld, Single-Player Action RPG To Hit PC On August 31st

I’m not sure how this game will pan out at launch, but if you are looking for a single-player “hardcore action RPG” set in a post-apocalyptic world, publisher and developer Screwdriver Entertainment’s Postworld might be a game worth following. The PC game is slated to hit Steam and will release on August 31st, 2018.

Postworld is an upcoming third-person shooter that features a system where you can change firearms and melee-weapons out in a wasteland-like place. Given that the devs are from Russia, it looks like this game takes place in a sci-fi alternate version of said place.

Moreover, you can replace character body parts on the fly with powerful combat prostheses, while venturing through a non-linear story where you can join Slavers, Cultists or Railwaymen and take over the wasteland.

Speaking of a non-linear story, quests will change up depending on decisions made and whether you have joined one of the three groups. According to the devs, one will have to “beat the game multiple times” to see all possible endings.

Personally, the gameplay footage reveals an Early Access title at heart, but then again the actual game might play out differently. With that said, you can check out the latest trailer below:
