LewdGamer, an outlet focusing on lewd gaming content and hentai games, recently made a tweet indicating that their YouTube channel has been terminated after receiving a single community guideline strike.
The tweet was made on August 17th, 2018 and contains an image of the notice they received from YouTube as to why the channel was shutdown.
Yo! @TeamYouTube can you please explain why our channel was terminated after a single guideline strike? the content made for that channel was heavily censored, contained no hate full content, and was ready to make alterations to any thumbnails or titles if they was a problem. pic.twitter.com/SZj1ZWAU74

If you’re unable to read the message from the YouTube community team, it states…
“We are constantly working to keep YouTube free of spam. It’s not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted, or repetitive videos. In addition, if the main purpose of your content is to drive people off of YouTube and onto another site, it will likely violate our spam policies. […]
“Please be aware that you are prohibited from accessing, possessing or creating any other YouTube accounts. […]”
And with that, the account went kaput.
If you attempt to visit the LewdGamer YouTube channel you’re now only met with banner from YouTube stating that the channel was terminated for spam.
According to a tweet from one of the content contributors, the channel was terminated on August 16th, 2018 shortly after YouTube sent the notice out stating that the channel was producing spam.
WOW the LewdGamer YouTube channel I made content for was suddenly suspended with no forewarning (only a single guideline strike a few minutes before removal) hopefully LG can work this out because I liked doing reviews T_T

What kind of spam or how the content was considered spam was not disclosed, and apparently YouTube has not provided an answer as to why after only a single guideline strike the channel was terminated.
This also followed closely in line with another channel producing lewd content, Lost Pause, whose channel was also hit with a temporary channel termination on August 17th, 2018.
WHAT THE HECK!? @TeamYouTube !?
You terminated my account on a false spam claim for a brand new video I just made that day?! Everything in there was fresh, original, and new. How on earth did it get terminated for spam!? Who was checking the video?
Please appeal this at once pic.twitter.com/JncjlzhtqD

Unlike LewdGamer, Lost Pause did receive a response from YouTube asking if he appealed, and then five hours later they restored his account.
Have you already appealed for our team to take a second look? We’ll also try to get more info and let you know what we find out.

Some feel as if this is YouTube taking action against lewd content creators on the platform. Others feel as if the machine learning algorithm is getting out of hand and shutting down channels unnecessarily.
Some feel as if this could be certain staff at YouTube going of their way to bring down channels they don’t like, while a few more think this is the result of a targeted campaign from those who hate lewd content featuring sexy women, and an attempt to mass-flag content from lewd channels in order to get them terminated.
For now, many are suggesting that LewdGamer either migrate their content to BitChute or make PornHub their new home.
