Apple Debuts iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, And iPhone XR

On September 12th Apple debuted three of its new iPhones at the Steve Jobs Theater, which is located at the Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The three iPhones include the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR, all of which were unveiled during the keynote at Apple’s September event.

The Apple website describes the 5.8-inch iPhone XS as the new generation of iPhone, with super Retina HD display, allowing the custom all-screen OLED displays on the iPhone XS to deliver the most accurate color when it comes to HDR, and true blacks. The XS starts at $999 offering the option of choosing 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB, and a resolution of 2436 x 1125mp at 458ppi. Both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have similar specifications which will be listed below with the XS Max.

The 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max also has super Retina HD display, with an all-screen OLED multi-touch HDR display, and a resolution of 2688 x 1242mp at 458ppi. The iPhone SX Max starts at $1,099 offering the same option as the SX of 64GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage. Both the XS and the XS Max come in the color options of- Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.

The specifications for both iPhones are: Face ID, operate on iOS 12 (which is said to launch on September 18th) 3D Touch, IP68 rating for splash, water and dust resistant, an A12 Bionic chip, with Next-generation Neural engine, which provides 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. The battery is only stated as a built-in rechargeable battery, lasting up to 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X. On Tom’s Guide website the chart displays the iPhone X with a battery life of 10:49 hours. Wireless charging does work with Qi chargers, though.

Each iPhone has a rear dual 12mp f/1.8 aperture, telephoto f/2.4 aperture, and and a 7mp front facing camera, with 4K video recording. The pre-order date starts September 14th, and the shipping date starts September 21st.

The 6.1-inch iPhone XR has liquid Retina HD display, and starts at $749, with a storage capacity of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The iPhone XR has most of the same specifications as the iPhone XS and XS Max except for no HDR display, it has an all-screen LCD multi-touch display with IPS tech, a screen resolution of 1792 x 828mp with 326ppi and a IP67 rating. A single rear camera lens 12mp, f/1.8 and a front camera lens 7mp f/2.2, 4K video recording. The iPhone XR comes in the colors black, white, red, yellow, coral and blue.
