Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Will Have Pre-Order Betas Ahead Of January, 2019 Release

Tindalos Interactive and Focus Home Interactive announced that Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 has been pushed back to January of 2019. The PC exclusive was originally announced at the start of this year by Tindalos Interactive and Focus Home and it was scheduled to go live this September, but the team announced recently that they needed more time to polish up the game in order to deliver a worthwhile product next year.

The team is currently working on finishing up three massive campaigns for the different playable factions featured in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, along with introducing the campaign co-op for multiple players.

To compensate for the delay, Tindalos will have two pre-order beta phases for those of you who pre-order the game on Steam for PC. The beta dates will be announced at a later date.

In preparation for the betas, Focus Home Interactive rolled out a new trailer for the game, which you can check out below.

The cinematic trailer is expertly put together, showcasing the various divisions all facing off against each other in some of the biggest, most impressive space battles in gaming.

The real-time strategy game sequel will follow the three campaigns based around the Necrons, Imperium of Man, and the Tyranids.

However, there will be a total of 12 playable factions outside of the campaign mode, giving you a wide swathe of various units, ships, and tactics to employ in single-player and multiplayer PvP modes. According to Tindalos, they’ve been improving on the overall combat and gameplay so that everything about the game is bigger, larger, and more dynamic than the battles featured in the first game.

It’s unfortunate that the beta is attached to the pre-order bonus, but it looks like some gamers are already diving in head-first in order to get an opportunity to play the beta.

You can learn more about the gameplay and features by visiting the Steam store page.
