Romanian development outfit Killhouse Games announced that Door Kickers: Action Squad is currently available right now on Steam after having graduated from Early Access. You can pick up a digital copy of the game right now from the Steam store for $13.99.
The game was originally in Early Access to polish up the gameplay and features, adding in lots of additional content and refining the features that it launched with. This included 24 different levels to complete, three unique weapons per class, three unique gear items, eight enemy types, and two different mission types. The game also features both local multiplayer and online co-op.
For the full release the developers added a brand new chapter containing 12 additional levels. Four new enemies, and an all new passive perk system and a character progression system.
You can check out the launch trailer for the game below to get an idea of what the action-oriented, side-scrolling shooter is like in action.
As you may have noticed, the demographics of the villains mirror that of real life instead of the Leftist propaganda fueled by every other AAA studio out there. This means you’ll be killing lots of thugs and gangsters while donning the role of lethal law enforcers.
The different character classes are very similar to those from Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Siege, but without the asinine authoritarian censorship policies that come along with the first-person shooter.
According to Dan Dimitrescu of KillHouse Games, they aren’t done with the game and there’s more content on the way, mentioning in the press release…
“We hope players have fun blasting through the game solo or with their friends and appreciate the amount of depth we have added to the experience. We have even more content planned post-release as well as workshop support and releasing the in-game level editor for the general public, and we can’t wait to see what our players come up with!”
The game is an homage to the 1990s action movie pulp that we used to get, like NAVY Seals, Speed and Die Hard: With A Vengeance where the heroes were masculine, testosterone-driven and weren’t afraid to pull the trigger and ask questions later.
If you want to fill your noggin with the kind of unbridled action-entertainment that Leftists have denied you in most other spaces, you can pick up a digital copy of Door Kickers: Action Squad from over on the Steam store.
