Microsoft’s Surface Go 10-Inch Budget Tablet At Its Lowest Price

In a previous article about Microsoft’s budget tablet, it detailed how Microsoft was planning on releasing a 10-inch budget tablet this year. Back on August 2nd 2018, Microsoft released its 10-inch budget tablet called the Surface Go, and recently it was reported by Windows Central that it’s currently at its lowest price since release.

The Surface Go tablet is centered more toward students as a portable budget tablet, of course its not limited to just students, it all depends on what the user’s needs and desires are.

The Surface Go comes in two models, the first model retails in the US for $399, the specs includes 64GB, an Intel Pentium Gold chip processor 4415Y with 1.6GHz and 4GB of RAM. The second model retails for $549, the specs includes 128GB, the same  Intel Pentium Gold chip 4415Y processor with 1.6GHz and 8GB of RAM. The other specs include Windows 10 Home in S Mode, a  USB-C port, a  Surface Connect port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSDXC card reader. It also has an integrated  Intel HD 615 graphics chip, with a battery life offering up to nine straight hours of video playback.

The screen display on the Surface Go has PixelSense display with a resolution of 1800 x 1200, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The front-facing camera is a 5mp with 1080p Skype HD video, with a rear-facing 8mp camera with 1080p HD video with a single microphone, 2W stereo speakers with Dolby audio premium. The silver exterior casing has a Magnesium finish, and a sturdy kickstand. Techadvisor states that two types of models were manufactured, currently only a Wi-Fi model is available, and later this year a LTE version will be made available.

Microsoft also has other accessories to accompany the Surface Go, the Surface Go Signature Type Cover is a full keyboard which can be attached to the Surface Go tablet. It’s available in four colors: Burgundy, Platinum, Cobalt Blue, and Black, and it retails for $129.99. The Surface Pen, which has precision ink on one end and a rubber eraser on the other, offers tilt for shading, greater sensitivity and virtually no lag; it comes in two colors: Platinum and Burgundy, and it retails for $99.00.

The Surface Mobile Mouse, which is light and portable delivering seamless scrolling and cord-free Bluetooth connectivity.
