RIDE 3 Launches November 30th With 230 Motorcycles

Italian game developer Milestone announced that RIDE 3 is scheduled to launch on November 30th, 2018 this fall for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game has been receiving some promotional trailers and material leading up to the big release date for home consoles and PC.

The release date news was accompanied by a new trailer that goes through the different racing disciplines for the motorcycle classes featured in the game. This includes the heritage bikes, the two-strokes, the vintage bikes from the history of two-wheeled racing; the maxienduro, which is a new category included in the RIDE series for the very first time; there’s supermotard, which is focused on off-road racing and the slide-drifting; and finally there are the sportbikes that are the traditional MotoGP style machines.

You can check out each class of bikes in the trailer below.

I do kind of wish we saw more raw gameplay, but what we do see is fairly informative. No matter what preference you have for motorcycle racing, something you enjoy is present in the game. In fact, it would be remiss of me not to point that I’m actually quite excited about RIDE 3, which is a rarity for many games released these days.

My excitement specifically stems from the amount of content and the bevy of motorcycles present in the game, which seems to cover every category of motorcycle racing one could hope to utilize within an interactive entertainment space. There are also some disciplines that almost never make into games, which is going to be cool to see how Milestone implements them into the racing series using the Unreal Engine 4’s physics engine.

It’s almost like a culmination of so many different racing games all wrapped up into one.

I think the only thing it may be missing is the ability to beat your opponents over the head, at which point it would even manage to fulfill the Road Rash sub-genre.

Even without the on-road fisticuffs being present, what is there is still plentiful enough to satiate the desires of the most ardent motorcycle racing fans on the planet. In fact, there are going to be 230 different motorcycles present in RIDE 3, and if you’re curious to see what the full list looks like you can do so by visiting the official website.

You can look for the game to launch on November 30th, 2018 later this year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
