Bandai Namco has unveiled the curtains to the second to last game mode for Soul Calibur VI, which is Creation Mode. The Japanese website details quite a bit of info regarding said mode that will appear this October across PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
There is one Soul Calibur VI game mode that is still hidden away as of this moment, while we wait for that game mode to be revealed website sc6.soularchive.jp offers a deeper look into the Creation Mode.
Firstly, you can change the height and muscle mass of your custom character:
You can also alter the body size of your character and changed each part:
You can also change the thickness of each part of your custom character. An example provided by Bandai Namco listed that you can make the stomach really thick to create “comical” or “deformed” characters.
The website also notes that there are “parts that only women can change.”
By changing the gender to a woman, you can also “resize female only areas.” I think you get the gist of what the devs are implying.
Furthermore, the combination of parts is said to be “infinite” with about 370 to select. You can make a unique character with special attire or face paint. You can also create your favorite pattern on armor, weapons, and body parts by changing the colors, the rotation, and size of decals/artwork.
Patterns ranging from “Japanese style,” “Western style,” “Animal pattern” and more are in the game, too. You can also take a picture of your custom character striking a pose and make “cool-looking” backgrounds and frames to create your favorite “player cards.”
According to the site, it also sounds like you can briefly pick your custom character’s background story? Anyway, what is known is that you can have them appear in the “Libra of Soul” mode.
Soul Calibur VI is set to release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 19th, 2018.
