V-Rally 4 Trailer Spotlights The Extreme-Khana Racing Discipline

The Extreme-Khana discipline was finally showcased in a near minute long trailer for the upcoming V-Rally 4. Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Racing Games wanted to introduce gamers to the extreme sports racing mode that sees players attempting to complete vehicular acrobatics across demanding courses setup to showcase the hardwired skills that drivers must exhibit to get out in one piece.

There will be multiple tracks for the Extreme-Khana, each with their own skill-based requirements to complete. The trailer highlighting how players will need to navigate through the tracks, and some of the vehicles in the mode can be viewed below.

The trailer explains how you have to use a lot of skill to make your way through the Extreme-Khana tracks, and it’s not just about holding down the accelerator and going top speed, it’s about mastering the turns, executing precision drifts, and shaving corners slimmer than the Viva Bianca’s landing strip.

We see that the cars burn rubber across docks, through warehouses, and across modified rally tracks.

The design of the tracks and cars designated to the Extreme-Khana definitely have a more 1990s, X-Games feel to them, which isn’t a bad thing at all. In fact, it’s pretty cool that we get to see that kind of creativity and design in a racing game again.

It’s hard to tell exactly what the length of the tracks will be like and what number of tracks will be included since the trailer doesn’t divulge that information, but hopefully it arrives soon since the game is launching this month.

There will be four major game modes included in the game, including Extreme-Khana, V-Rally Cross, Buggy, Rally, and Hillclimb.

In the press release they mentioned that PS4 owners can pre-order to receive an exclusive Ford Shelby GT500, which seems kind of unfair for people who don’t pre-order, but it is what it is.

You can look for V-Rally 4 to launch on September 7th for Xbox One and PS4, and on September 25th for PC, with the Nintendo Switch version due to drop sometime later in the fall or winter of 2018.
