Vixens From Outer Space, Cosmic-Horror FPS Porn Parody Preps For Early Access Run
Vixens From Outer Space

Domus Ludus’ Vixens From Outer Space is a fully functional first-person shooter that combines Lovecraftian-style cosmic horrors with lots of nudity and sex. The game is themed around a porn production making a sci-fi flick when things go horribly wrong and the cast end up having to face off against extra-dimensional cosmic horrors.

The game was originally supposed to be released in the middle of September and spending the next 18 months in development via Steam’s Early Access program, but the developer got cold feet at the last minute and decided to delay the game in order to polish it up some more ahead of its entry into Early Access.

The game is still scheduled to release at some point during the fall of 2018, just not right now.

A teaser trailer showcasing some of the gameplay was released, and it looks very similar the Unreal Engine-powered Rise of the Triads remake.

The gunplay is passable and the graphics are decent.

The enemy designs are definitely noteworthy, and they certainly look and move like cosmic horrors. Hopefully their AI and path finding will be improved so they do more than just run at the player.

The core of the game – while drenched in the cheesy set dressing of a porno set and filled to the brim with classic B-movie weaponry – is still a first-person shooter at heart. In fact, there’s a short list of what percentage of the game falls where, with 90% of the game being an FPS, 5% being dialogue, and 5% being light puzzles.

There are also plans to implement a Horde mode where you just battle endless waves of the monsters until you’re completely spent.

This isn’t going to be some lothario simulator like Super Seducer. While the premise is themed around a porn set, it’s still going to be drenched in FPS combat.

I do wonder what percentage of the game will see the sexy vixens flaunting skin?

I suppose we’ll all find out when Vixens From Outer Space launches into Early Access over on the Steam store.
