For four days in November gamers will be able to get their hands on Black Desert Online‘s Xbox One version for the cost of nothing but some gigabytes in bandwidth and the process of registration a free account for Pearl Abyss’ visually stunning hack-and-slash, non-targeting MMO.
The open beta is set to get underway starting November 8th, and it will run through November 12th. You’ll also be able to get some hands-on time with the game before anyone else if you have plans on attempting TwitchCon this year between October 26th and October 28th over the weekend. Pearl Abyss will have the game on display at booth #1711, featuring gameplay from the Xbox One version for the very first time in public.
If you want to register to play the game simply head on over to the Xbox.PlayBlackDesert.com website portal.
The Xbox One X version will support 4K upscaling for those of you who have one, along with HDR support.
The game was originally announced to appear on the Xbox One a year ago during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, where a two minute reveal trailer was rolled out for the game.
After a year of optimizing, fixing frame-rates and attempting to stabilize gameplay on Microsoft’s highly under-powered game console, Pearl Abyss is now ready to launch the game in some capacity for the general public’s consumption.
The main hook for Black Desert Online is being able to make extremely attractive females. Yes, there are males in the game, but the females will melt your heart and put a spark in your eyes.
The game has become renown for being one of the few MMOs out there that lets you create the kind of high quality waifus that are no longer allowed on the PlayStation 4.
While Sony is cracking down on games that contain sexy content aimed at straight male gamers, it definitely opens up an opportunity for Nintendo and Microsoft to capitalize on Sony’s err.
So long as Microsoft doesn’t force Pearl Abyss to censor Black Desert Online, it could be a true and proper step in luring gamers back to the Xbox brand.
