HellSign, Top-Down Investigative Horror Game To Hit Steam November 7th

Once featured on Steam Greenlight as HellHunter, indie publisher and developer known as Ballistic Interactive has changed the horror-adventure investigative title to HellSign, and the game itself will release for PC via Steam Early Access on November 7th.

Although HellSign faced a grim fate on Kickstarter with a failed run, the devs continued to work diligently on the top-down horror-adventure title until it secured an early November launch date.

The upcoming game that will hit Steam Early Access explores the dangers and intricacies of being a demon slayer or ghost hunter in a supernatural RPG way.

According to the devs, HellSign has you assuming the role of a freelance hunter building his career towards uncovering what monster killed his family. However, the identity and characteristics of your target aren’t revealed so easily prompting you to investigate while being hunted by strange entities yourself.

Based on your deduction you can determine what will come out of each supernatural investigation and encounters:

“HellSign is an investigative action RPG that pits you against the horrors of the afterlife, let loose on a small town. As a hunter, you’ll plan, hunt, and kill to pay the bills and get revenge on the monster that butchered your family. Just remember – a smart hunter is always prepared.”

If you want to see the November 7th due game right here, the official gameplay trailer can be seen below.

The biggest downside that I think top-down fans will encounter is that HellSign is an Early Access title. Version 1.0 is planned to release sometime late in 2019 — meaning that the game will be in an early phase for quite some time.

Anyway, if this game has piqued your interest, you can head on over to ballisticinteractive.com or steampowered.com to learn more about this title before it hits the digital scene next week.
