SQLite’s Christian Themed Code Of Conduct Angers SJW NPCs
SQLite NPC

Social Justice Warriors, NPCs, and far-Left extremists hate Western values; they hate America; they hate freedom; and they especially hate diversity of thought. They operate on an ever-difficult to maintain bandwidth of Liberal piety themed around the Progressive Stack. They’ve become known within most circles as the Intersectional Inquisition, because anyone who steps out of line will get castigated and publicly shamed, sometimes out of a job, sometimes out of a business. However, not everyone is keen on bending the knee, and one group of developers decided to poke fun at the SJW zealotry by adopting a code of conduct based on the 6th century moral code established by St. Benedict.

After SJWs pressured SQLite to make an updated code of conduct, they did so but took a very liturgist approach to it. The code of conduct can be viewed over on the official SQLite website, where there are 72 rules to follow, as listed below…

  1. First of all, love the Lord God with your whole heart, your whole soul, and your whole strength.
  2. Then, love your neighbor as yourself.
  3. Do not murder.
  4. Do not commit adultery.

  48. Keep constant guard over the actions of your life.
  49. Know for certain that God sees you everywhere.
  50. When wrongful thoughts come into your heart, dash them against Christ immediately.
  51. Disclose wrongful thoughts to your spiritual mentor.
  52. Guard your tongue against evil and depraved speech.
  53. Do not love much talking.

  55. Do not love much or boisterous laughter.
  56. Listen willingly to holy reading.
  57. Devote yourself frequently to prayer.
  58. Daily in your prayers, with tears and sighs, confess your past sins to God, and amend them for the future.
  59. Fulfill not the desires of the flesh; hate your own will.
  60. Obey in all things the commands of those whom God has placed in authority over you even though they (which God forbid) should act otherwise, mindful of the Lord’s precept, “Do what they say, but not what they do.”
  61. Do not wish to be called holy before one is holy; but first to be holy, that you may be truly so called.

  69. Love your juniors.
  70. Pray for your enemies in the love of Christ.
  71. Make peace with your adversary before the sun sets.
  72. Never despair of God’s mercy.

The response from SJW NPCs has mostly been negative, since they wanted SQLite to update the code of conduct based on their own regressive standards and not the values upheld by Christians.

Not everyone within the development community are as humorless as a typical NPC.

A few web developers actually acknowledged that there are many “thought” leaders in Silicon Valley that adopt extreme Leftism as their modus operandi, even to the detriment of progress itself.

According to The Register, SQLite administrator, D. Richard Hipp, told the outlet that despite SJWs claiming that they’re nolonger welcome in the community, everyone is still welcome…

“Nobody is excluded from the SQLite community due to biological category or religious creed. The preface to the CoC should make this clear. The only way to get kicked out of the SQLite community is by shouting, flaming, and disrespectful behavior. In 18 years, only one person has ever been banned from the mailing list.”

Given that SJWs have a tendency to be disrespectful, have a tendency to shout, and use foul language, I may not be long before some of them find themselves excommunicated from the community not because of the code of conduct, but simply because they aren’t very nice people.
