Bandai Namco announced that a special bundle edition of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will be available for the Xbox One and PS4 editions of the game in preparation for the January 18th, 2019 release date.
The bundle will be available in limited quantities, featuring the full version of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, along with a special steelbook case, a 150-page Aces at War: A History 2019 art book featuring interviews, illustrations and four short stories written by Sunao Katabuchi, along with a special pre-order bonus for Xbox One gamers by allowing them to gain access to a free copy of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation for the Xbox 360, which is backwards compatible for Xbox One owners. Additionally, PS4 owners will receive a free copy of Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Both Xbox One and PS4 owners will receive a free F-4E Phantom II and three other usable skins for the multiplayer mode.
The news about the bundle was accompanied by a new gameplay video showcasing some of the combat and content from the bundle.
Now for those of you who don’t know, Thurstmaster also has a special edition T. Flight Hotas joystick that will be available in time for the launch of Ace Combat 7, with precision flight control, full throttle controls, rudder support, and more.
In combination with the bundle pack, gamers can end up paying quite a pretty penny to get their hands on Ace Combat 7‘s bundle pack and accompanying joystick. Even still, fans of the series are probably pretty pumped for it.
You can look for the Unreal Engine 4-powered arcade flight-sim to launch for PS4 and Xbox One starting early next year on January 18th. The PC version will launch shortly thereafter on February 1st, 2019. You can pre-order the the bundle pack from the Bandai Namco store for the Xbox or PlayStation.
