Whether you love ’em or hate ’em, you have to admit that Microsoft has at least been one-upping Sony a lot more consistently than Sony has been one-upping them when it comes to free games with the monthly subscription fees for paying to play online multiplayer on the Xbox One and PS4. This has been rather evident in the monthly Games With Gold program, where Microsoft gives away four games for gamers to keep as part of the monthly subscription.
November’s Games With Gold includes DICE’s Battlefield 1, which is actually the development studio’s foray into getting “woke”. It was a visually solid game but broken when it came to the microtransactions and weapon balance. That’s not to mention that the game was historically inconsistent when it came to the kind of weapons that were featured on the battlefield during World War I.
However, if you’re already paying for Xbox Live Gold, you’ll be able to play Battlefield 1 at no additional extra charge.
In a less than stellar additive to the line-up, there’s the indie game Race The Sun. While it’s not a bad – with players having to stay in the light and race as fast as you can in rapid-fire tracks where the low-poly environment tries to kill you. Imagine a strictly racing version of Star Fox with slightly better graphics.
The last two games are actually pretty cool, with Assassin’s Creed and Dante’s Inferno rounding out the Xbox 360 offerings.
The first Assassin’s Creed was an honest stealth-assassin game with an intriguing plot and cool possibilities. It’s a far-cry from the more diversity-driven schlock Ubisoft is pumping out today.
Dante’s Inferno is also a special treat, as it’s one of the last few complete games that Electronic Arts published, and one of the few games that went all in on the sexual content.
As many of you know, due to the NPCs within the political Yakuza, they control what’s allowed and what’s not by badmouthing studios from the propaganda platforms known as media outlets. So most developers are scared witless (or have been converged by the NPC menace) and avoid adding sexy women to their games or any female nudity.
I’m a little shocked Microsoft would add that game to the list, because it actually gives gamers something fun to play, and with mature themed content that isn’t kosher for the cretins running the SJW caliphate.
Anyway, the free Games With Gold begin rolling out throughout November, so if you have an Xbox 360 you can grab two of the games, or if you have an Xbox One you can get all four thanks to the 360 titles being backwards compatible.
