Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force Launches In January, 2019 For Nintendo Switch
Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force

Localization outfit Ghostlight and Idea Factory International announced that Compile Heart’s Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force will make its debut on the Nintendo Switch for the very first time starting in January of 2019 next month.

The game was already released for the PlayStation 4 along with 25 different DLC items. The Nintendo Switch version will also come with all 25 pieces of DLC. The release of the game will also launch on the Nintendo eShop with a 20% off discount.

The story centers around the unassuming hero, Fang, who attempts to save the world after recovering a special sword from a stone. This takes place as the land is engaged in a war as Fencers attempt to take control of weapons imbued with power form the Furies, while nefarious individuals attempt to control all of the power.

Fang, after saving another Fencer from attack named Tiara, proceeds to gather his party and fight against the evil gods.

The game utilizes the traditional JRPG turn-based battle system, where players will be able to utilize basic attacks, special commands, and links.

The story plays out across three different arcs involving the Goddess, the Vile God, and the Evil Goddess. You’ll be able to recruit up to five additional teammates and customize all six members allowing you to collect the special weapons, imbue them with fairies and power them up so that you can make your team stronger.

Since the game already released on PC and PS4 gamers don’t have to worry about the game being censored, and since Nintendo Switch owners don’t have to worry about third party games being censored since Nintendo doesn’t get into that sort of stuff. Sony, however, has been forcing Japanese developers to censor their games on the PS4.

You can look for Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force to launch in January for the Switch.
