Bandai Namco has updated the roster for Jump Force, adding several new characters to the ever-expanding roster, including Asta from Black Clover. Asta comes with his sword and abilities from Black Clover, and he’s joined by a new level that was revealed featuring the Marineford from One Piece.
In addition to Asta, Siliconera is reporting that the big-boobed Boa Hancock will be making her way into the game from One Piece as well, along with Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. They also revealed that Renji Abarai from Bleach has been revealed for the cast, too.
Unfortunatley we don’t get to see the mouthwatering decolletage of Boa Hancok in Jump Force, as screenshots have not been revealed… yet. However, Bandai Namco did release a couple of new screenshots of the game’s main villains from Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragon Ball Z, along with the character customization menu, and the magician and Yu-Gi from Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Even though some of the characters right now look really weird in the somewhat realistic visual art-style, I do like what the team has done with the game’s lighting. It’s cool see the world reflecting off the shiny part of Frieza’s head, or the way certain refractive elements highlight certain materials on the characters.
Unfortunately the created characters look really misplaced among the rest of the game’s roster. They suffer from the typical created-character jobber look that most characters suffer from.
Anyway, you can look for Jump Force to finally launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and on Steam for PC starting February 15th, 2019.
