Open Discussion: December 9th, 2018

The second week of December has brought forth the latest Open Discussion. So if you are looking for a place to post up something that you may have found interesting and worth discussing, the Open Discussion series that appears every week here on OAG might be for you. The Open Discussion series enables you to participate in a topic or start up your very own by posting whatever comes to mind.

A lot of things can catch the interest of a person and if you like to type, write or share information that seems pressing, the Open Discussion series is for you. The point behind the Open Discussion on OAG is to give you the reader the opportunity to post up anything related or unrelated to the subject featured — which the subject happens to change every week.

Furthermore, like any other post on this site, any comment will be approved and will not be censored. This even includes when Disqus acts up and censors your post. In other words, please do notify us if you happen to have a comment of yours not appear for other people to see or read, whether it be censored by WordPress or Disqus.

As for this week’s topic, it is about John Romero and Romero Games supposedly launching something tomorrow (December 10th). The letter explaining this can be read over below:

A written version of the above image can be seen here, too:

“25 years ago DOOM was released on December 10th.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Romero Games will announce pre-orders for a project John Romero just completed.

If you have been following John Romero’s Instagram @theromero you would have seen the hints. What looked like a countdown to Doom’s birthday became suddenly mysterious.

You’ll receive another email on Monday announcing this new project, and have the opportunity to pre-order it.”

Much like any other Open Discussion, you don’t have to stay on topic but if you do this week’s topic is about your thoughts on what Romero Games will release and if you are excited or not about whatever it is.
