The hammer of the Left swings with all the might and strength mustered by the facade of righteousness, while they’re perched atop a stoop pillared in hell. Free speech continues to be the victim of that vile hammer called “Censorship” with three more anti-SJWs having fallen to it like a soft melon under a stone cudgel.
The Verge is reporting that Carl “Sargon of Akkad” Benjamin, James Allsup, and Milo Yiannopoulos have all been banned from Patreon.
The site is reporting that Sargon of Akkad was making more than $12,000 a month from the crowdsourced service.
Some who had allied against him feel this is payback for his followers’ allegedly having some involvement with getting the Killstream taken down in collaboration with the Wall Street Journal. The entire drama surrounding Sargon and the Killstream was documented in a near 40 minute video from Loyal Logic.
Loyal, however, doesn’t believe that Sargon had the kind of pull necessary to get the whole Killstream… killed. He also predicted that this kind of drama would eventually lead to channels getting banned, and it would be more efficient to focus on working together against big corps instead of against each other.
As for Milo Yiannopoulos, he used to be the golden boy of the Conservatives and a provocateur at Brietbart until the Alt-Right wanted his head. Others abandoned him following some drama involving comments he made about hebephilia. He’s probably best known for triggering Social Justice Warriors with his college campus speeches (and entrances) that caused riots initiated by Antifa, as reported by CNN.
Just a day before his account was shut down, he made a post informing his audience that the Patreon page was basically setup for him to do a comeback tour, where he stated…
“I’ve had a miserable year or two, banned and de-platformed and censored and blacklisted. Now I need your help. I want to get back on my feet and come roaring back in 2019,”
“I am one of the most censored and most lied-about people in the world. Even my fans sometimes believe things about me that aren’t true, because journalists lie more about me than perhaps anyone else in America,”
Nevertheless, Patreon’s reasons for going after Milo are completely unrelated to the past drama, it’s actually more-so related to the current drama involving the Proud Boys [Correction: originally it was stated that the Proud Boys was labeled by the FBI as an extremist group, but it turns out that is fake news, and the FBI did not label them as an extremist group, as reported by Oregon Live.]
An image of the e-mail sent to Milo was rolled out for public perusal, which you can view below.
If you’re unable to read the image, it states…
“[…] I’m writing you to let you know that my team and I removed your creator page for violating our Community Guidelines around Violent Organizations.
“Your past association with the Proud Boys, though recently disavowed, is a breach of our guidelines.
“I have paid out the remaining balance of [redacted] to your account and attached a CSV of your current patrons for your use.
“In the future, if you ever want to start a new page on Patreon, feel free to contact us at [redacted]. You can read more about reinstatement here. […]”
Many people are not surprised by this turn of events given that mainstream media and Left-oriented organizations have been going after Right-leaning pundits and Conservatives with carte blanche vengeance. This included permanently de-platforming InfoWars, as well as cutting out the payment processing for Gab.com, which was supposed to be a Right-leaning alternative to Twitter.
At this point, it’s just a matter of time before they come for you.
