Yoko Taro Says Peach Ball For Nintendo Switch Could Be The First And Last Of Its Kind
Peach Ball Senran Kagura

NieR: Automata creative director, Yoko Taro, managed to get his hands on the Nintendo Switch exclusive, Peach Ball: Senran Kagura. The game is a lewd take on pinball, allowing gamers to take their balls and bounce them off the boobs of the girls from Senran Kagura as they’re dressed up in various cosplay costumes and scantily clad outfits.

According to Sankaku Complex, Taro-san had some positive vibes to feed toward Peach Ball, saying it’s likely going to be the first and last of its kind as a pinball game, and that it’s definitely worth picking up if you enjoy pinball (and probably if you like lewd anime boobs bouncing around as you fling the balls across the table).

If you are unable to read it, Taro basically states…

Peach Ball: Senran Kagura provides in this day and age an experience of hitting a ball of pinball against the fictional female characters, while providing a feeling of challenge.

“Such a game being available on consumer machines, feels like the first and last… …! Fans of pinball must experience this significant [game].”

Taro’s tweet is mostly in relation to pinball gaming rather than the war on lewds currently taking place.

He had a follow-up tweet that Sankaku spotted, where he continued to praise the game for offering a different take on genre-based pinball regardless of its connection to Marvelous Entertainment’s Senran Kagura.

Some interpreted his comments as saying that due to the fan-service present in Senran Kagura — and the current war on fan-service — that combining a game with bouncing boobs with balls in a pinball environment could be the first and last of its kind. This also follows on a recent interview with Senran Kagura producer Kenichirō Takaki who mentioned that fan-service is being driven out of the industry little by little.

As many people already know, the current war on fan-service is a war that has claimed many waifus. Censorship is running rampant, steam fills the streets, and bright lights blind those who attempt to gaze upon the now taboo lure of big anime titties. Although, in Taro’s case he genuinely seemed more interested in the unique pinball mechanics than the fan-service.

Either way, you can pick up a digital copy of Peach Ball: Senran Kagura from the Japanese Nintendo eShop. If you want to purchase a copy you simply need to switch your region from the Nintendo Network settings on the official website, and then open up the eShop on your Switch and purchase the game using a preferred payment method or your eShop coins. Alternatively you can grab a physical copy from the Play-Asia store.
