Mundfish Reveals New Atomic Heart Pre-Alpha Gameplay Trailer

Back on May 8th, 2018, Mundfish released Atomic Heart‘s second official trailer showing off a nice amount of in-game footage. From weapon customization to new enemy faces, the second trailer offered a lot of info on the game, but the latest ten-minute video trailer offers a fresh stream of pre-alpha gameplay footage.

Atomic Heart is said by Mundfish to provide players with a mystery to solve, a list of weapons to wield, gun and appearance customization, the ability to play stealthily, and the opportunity to fight Soviet robots and zombies in an alternate universe.

If all of that sounds like something that you can get behind, Mundfish has a new pre-alpha gameplay trailer up for you to look over. However, the game that is billed to come out late this year (or sometime in early 2020) holds issues in its current state.

In addition to the above, frame-drops, and other graphical and performance problems are present. Viewers will also notice an unfinished UI (simple life bar and iron cross-like reticle unlike the image below) that doesn’t look all that pleasing to the eye. Contrary to that, though, the environment and art designs are something of a beautiful wonder.

With that said, you can check out the pre-alpha build here thanks to the dev team’s YouTube channel.

Something worth pointing out is that the video is showing the PS4 version of Atomic Heart. It’s unclear if the devs are playing the pre-alpha build on a PS4 or PS4 Pro, but thanks to the eight-minute mark we can see the PlayStation control symbols confirming said platform.

Speaking of platforms, folks interested in the PC build will find that Mundfish posted Atomic Heart’s PC requirements quite early on its Steam page, although its PC specs might change when late 2019 rolls around:
