Bee Simulator Set To Launch On Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, Xbox One At The End Of 2019

French publisher Bigben Interactive and Polish developer Varsav Game Studios announced that they have teamed up together to bring Bee Simulator to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch to gamers by the end of 2019.

In the press release the developers of Varsav are looking forward to Bigben Interactive promoting the game and bringing some element of global awareness to the product ahead of release, so they can enjoy some solid sales during the debut month.

The game will launch both digitally and physically on PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. They don’t say exactly when the game will release, but it’s scheduled to drop at some point in late 2019.

You can check out the initial GamesCom announcement trailer from last year to get an idea of what Bee Simulator is like and how the game is played.

The game is graphically a lot more impressive than I thought it would be, it’s got a visual aesthetic that’s rather buzz-worthy.

Players will journey through Central Park in New York as a miniature worker bee, with a macro world outside of the hive and a properly scaled micro-world inside the hive to give gamers a look at what it’s like going through the daily chores of a bee.

What’s also interesting is that there are edutainment aspects to the game, with three different game modes offering something unique for players to experience while learning about the biology and ecosystem of bees.

The single-player story mode is a quest-based mode where players attempt to find ways to save the beehive from humans, while an exploration mode will allow you to fly around Central Park freely. The third mode is the two-player split-screen co-op mode where you have to complete quests together with a friend.

You can learn more about the game or keep an eye on the development by visiting the Steam store page.
