Marvelous Entertainment and XSeed Games released three new gameplay trailers for the upcoming hack-and-slash, thousand-army game for the PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Type-Moon and First Studios’ upcoming Fate/Extella Link features the same fast-paced 3D gameplay found in Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors titles or Tamsoft’s Senran Kagura games.
The first trailer features Nero Claudius, the hot knight in the red flowery dress with a transparent canopy in the front so you can get a nice, good look at her long legs and strapping leotard. You can check out the trailer below.
She retains the same sort of attacks that she had in Fate/Extalla: The Umbral Star. Her sex appeal is also well and intact, opposite of the way Western studios have been handling their female characters.
And speaking of sexy appeal, XSeed Games kept the waifu-bait going with Tamamo no Mae, the foxy mage who uses a lot of wide-sweeping wind attacks and combos to take down her foes.
You can check out the minute long trailer below.
Last and completely least is Nameless, the only male servant in the trio of characters. Archer relies on launching his spears and bladed weapons at enemies.
Obviously no one cares about the Nameless trailer because he’s pretty lame compared to the waifu bait.
XSeed Games also rolled out the schedule for more promotional character trailers, including Francis Drake, Robin Hood, Li Shuwen, Lu Bu, Gawain, and Elizabeth Bathory from Fate/Extra CCC on February 25th; Astolfo, Karna, Arjuna, Scathach, Darius III, and Jeanne d’Arc from Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order on March 4th; Cu Hulainn, Medusa, Artoria Pendragon, Gilgamesh, Iskandar, Lancelot, and Gilles de Rais from Fate/Stay Night on March 11th; and Altera, Archimedes, Charlemagne, and Rex Magnus from Fate/Extella on March 18th.
The full version of Fate/Extella Link will be available on PS4, PS Vita, Steam, and on the Nintendo Switch starting in March.
