One Finger Death Punch 2 PC Demo Available For Download Over On Steam

Silver Dollar Games announced that a free 45 minute demo is currently available over on the Steam store page, where you can download it for free and check out the gameplay for yourself.

The demo features the white stick figure fighting in fast-paced melee combat, battling against nearly endless waves of bad guys while rolling out combos and using special moves and weapons to dispense of the enemies.

The game takes everything that was present in the original One Finger Death Punch and then ramps it up to 11. You can check out the gameplay video below to see what some of the features and content is like in the demo, courtesy of tengu230.

There are four different modes, but the demo only lets you access one of the modes. It starts by giving you a quick tutorial on how to play, which only consists of the left and right mouse buttons. You can string together combos as enemies enter into the screen and come within the strike zone either on the left or right side of the bar.

There’s also partial controller support, the ability to throw weapons, and use special moves. The thing is is that if you miss you’re left open for an attack, so the idea is to keep the momentum going. As you progress through the game the fights get faster, and the combat becomes increasingly challenging, including unlocking new finishing moves where you can decapitate foes, or string together devastating combos.

Some enemies require more than one attack to kill them, but nearly every enemy dies in one hit when using a projectile weapon, such as a shuriken or a shotgun.

The full version of One Finger Death Punch 2 is due out on PC starting April 15th. The game is also set to release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in the winter of 2019 at the end of the year.

There’s also a special One Finger Death Punch 2 stick animation contest being made in collaboration with Hyun Dojo, where artists will be tasked with animating a fight sequence or moment from the game featuring the main hero . You can learn more about the animation contest by visiting the official Hyun’s Dojo website.
