QuakeCon 2019 Details Set To Go Live The First Week Of April

Last year, QuakeCon 2018 sported a list of games that attendees could play or watch from home. Games shown off at the annual event happened to be Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, Quake Champions, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, Rage 2 and more. As of now, the official QuakeCon Twitter account has tweeted a time frame when actual details regarding the website and event will go live.

Whether you are critical of Bethesda and the companies that develop for it due to stuff like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, or the mess that is Fallout 76, do know that Quakecon 2019 will go live from July 25th to July 28th, 2019.

Moreover, details on the event’s website, registration and other stuff regarding this year’s QuakeCon will be announced on the official website very soon.

The above information disclosed was done on March 26th, 2019, as seen on the official QuakeCon Twitter account:

Contrary to last year’s early August launch date, the late July event will likely introduce gamers and fans alike to a list of features or games that may not make it to Bethesda’s E3 2019 press event. This also includes information glossed over at the June games expo, which may be a highlight at the July conference.

However, something that is known is that panels, LAN play, tournaments, and more events are planned as seen in a tweet published as of this writing:

Something worth noting is that it’ll be interesting to see the crowds reaction to people like Todd Howard and Pete Hines after they vanished when Fallout 76’s problems hit the fan. Especially in this case given that two major events (E3 2019 and QuakeCon 2019) are only a month apart from each other. Well, time will tell.

With all of that said, Somewhere between April 1st to April 7th, 2019, will be the day when QuakeCon 2019 website details go live for those curious as to what will be shown off at the July event.
