Content creators are beginning to feel the pinch as YouTube is cracking down all sorts of content featuring any kind of sexy characters, suggestive dialogue, or anything that YouTube finds socially reprehensible… like fighting ninja girls whose clothes get ripped up during the fight.
On March 12th, 2019 YouTuber Good Game Have Fun took to his Twitter account, TheHatPerson, and notified the community that all of his latest Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal videos had been demonetized.
All of my SK videos from the latest scheduled batch got demonetized…again. I think I’m starting to see a pattern here.
It’s weird. Most SK videos never got dinged this hard, but now it’s changing. Ironically, all of these videos have no sexual stuff AT ALL in their story. pic.twitter.com/rC7kTD8dpf

We don’t know exactly what the issue was with the Senran Kagura videos, given that we know that the games don’t actually contain sexual content.
However, we do know that they contain sexually suggestive content, such as censored nudity and the girls’ clothes getting blasted off. An example is featured in the video below courtesy of Sex Gravy.
What this means is basically that for content creators like Good Game Have Fun, or GGHF, they’re going to be less inclined to make content based around games or products that are going to be instantly demonetized.
It’s a deterrent basically so that content creators focus on the kind of content YouTube is willing to monetize.
To GGHF’s credit, he did keep the Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal videos online. You can view his entire playlist for the game below.
However, if YouTube continues to demonetize content like Senran Kagura or remove videos from certain YouTubers, it’s likely that it will compel YouTubers to just abandon any kind of risque games or media altogether.
