Borderlands 3 Gameplay Reveal Set For May 1st Along With Twitch Stream Event

Borderlands 3 is Gearbox and 2K’s upcoming “shooter-Looter” to release Q3 2019. An event set for May 1st, 2019, will show off the upcoming role-playing first-person shooter’s gameplay accompanied by Twitch streamers offering their thoughts while playing the game that’s slated to hit PC via the Epic Game Store (a year ahead of Steam), PS4, and Xbox One on September 13th, 2019.

Back on April 3rd of this year, we learned that all those rumors culminating before and on April Fool’s day about Borderlands 3 being a timed Epic Games Store exclusive was right. This means the “Shooter-Looter” won’t hit PC via Steam until April 2020 while the Epic Games Store and home consoles will get Borderlands 3 on September 13th, 2019.

Ahead of those dates, though, comes official gameplay in two days according to Gearbox:

In other words, your typical Twitch streamers will show up to shill for the game. However, slots are open for others to join in:

In case you’ve missed the stream you can still catch it via Twitch or YouTube, which should come in as no surprise:

If, however, you are interested in this game there is a lot of versions out there like the Standard Edition ($59.99), Deluxe Edition ($79.99), Super Deluxe Edition ($99.99), and the Diamond Loot Chest Collector’s Edition ($249.99). The base game and other versions will likely flaunt some form of microtransactions that the publisher and dev team will try to deny but time will tell, though.

Anyway, the game that will likely sport SJW themes and anti-gamer tropes throughout it will have its story, characters, gear, and more detailed during a gameplay live-stream on May 1st, 2019, followed by streamers regurgitating their thoughts shortly afterward.

Lastly, Borderlands 3 will hit PC (Epic Game Store), PS4, and Xbox One on September 13th, 2019. As for those who game on Steam, the “shooter-looter” will become available sometime April 2020.
