Mordhau, Medieval Battle Royale Game Will Let You End Your Opponents Rightly On Steam Starting April 29th, 2019

If you are looking for an alternate game to play that isn’t a first-person shooter or an empty open world game, but something that explores medieval chivalry through the art of sword and steel, then look no further than Triternion’s Mordhau. The game is due out on April 29th and is a multiplayer first/third-person game, allowing you to experience the art of old blood.

Mordhau is a game that defines vigorous glory and visceral gore through  the merit of pure combat skill, meaning fights aren’t your typical button mash fest but are instead reliant on positioning, skill, wit, and timing to end your opponent(s) rightly.

If that sounds like fun to you, take note that there is a catch. Mordhau is an online multiplayer game that sees you vs. 64 other players. On the flipside you can, however, play with bots offline and practice by yourself.

“MORDHAU is a medieval first & third person multiplayer slasher. Enter a hectic battlefield of up to 64 players as a mercenary in a fictional, but realistic world, where you will get to experience the brutal and satisfying melee combat that will have you always coming back for more.”

Despite Mordhau not sporting a single-player story mode for players to hunker down and explore, there are staple game modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, (the one-life) Skirmish mode, and the 64-player Battle Royale, Horde (co-op wave mode), and Frontline mode where siege weaponry, cavalry combat and more take the scene front and center.

With all of that said, you can be the judge on whether or not Mordue looks fun courtesy of the game’s official YouTube channel.

Thanks to the trailer you can see environments varying like grasslands, mud-lands, rocky/dusty fields, mountainous areas, forts, castles and so on. In other words, the game has visual landscapes and a variety of stages to boot.
