Visually the game looks pretty slick, and the developers have an inviting art-style and physics system in place so that it feels like a natural evolution of those classic PS1 extreme sports titles that used to dominate the the genre back during mid-to-late 1990s.

I doubt that we’ll see a resurgence of extreme sports in the mainstream space, but Descenders is definitely a slick looking title. Visually the bikes and characters are on point, and the stunts all look like they can be performed seamlessly without breaking momentum, which is usually the biggest hurdle when creating a stunt-based racing game like this.

The full game features procedurally generated worlds with free-style bike controls so you can pull off all sorts of physics-based tricks as you battle to stay upright while treading downhill.

There’s a complete list of mutators you can enable to change up the gameplay and add some sugar and spice to your racing adventures all while listening to a licensed soundtrack featuring some recognizable drum and bass tunes.

You can grab a digital copy of Descenders right now on Steam for PC or from the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One.
