Open Discussion: May 19th, 2019

The third week of May has brought forth the latest Open Discussion, meaning if you’re looking for a place to post up something that you may have found interesting and worth discussing, the Open Discussion series that appears every week here on OAG is for you. The Open Discussion series enables you to participate in a variety of topics without facing any form of censorship.

A lot of things can catch the interest of a person and if you like to type, write or share information that seems pressing, the Open Discussion series is for you. The point behind the Open Discussion on OAG is to give you (the reader) the opportunity to post up anything related or unrelated to the subject at hand — wherein the subject happens to change every week.

Furthermore, like any other post on this site, any comment will be approved and will not be censored. This even includes when Disqus acts up and censors comments, which it’s best to keep your eyes open for any censorship by said service. In other words, please do notify us if you happen to have a comment of yours not appear for other people to see or read, whether it was censored by WordPress or Disqus.

This week’s topic is about Video game crunch. A peek at mainstream media gaming websites will fill your eyes with all sorts of stories, but what’re your thoughts on developer crunch?

In addition to the above, a lot of outlets and vocal people are advocating for unionization in the gaming sphere, but others are saying that said “solution” will only make matters worse. Do you think the former or latter group have a point, or is there something more to it all?

Like any other Open Discussion, if you have something else on your mind and wish to share it you are free to post it up right here. This means that content unrelated to this very subject can be shared without being moved to another section.

This week’s music selection is a classic from the 1980’s… Stan Bush’s “Fight to Survive”. Feel free to share your selection below.
