The game came out last year for PS4 and Xbox One to fairly positive reviews and a rekindling of nostalgia from a bygone era of gaming when developers made titles for fun and to entertain gamers instead of trying to push propaganda onto people or constantly trying to subliminally influence people toward Left-wing politics.
The callback to that era with Spyro Reignited Trilogy resonated strongly with most fans, despite the fact that there was some minor censorship, as detailed by YouTuber Canadian Guy Eh.
The trilogy includes the original Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. All three games will be available digitally and physically in the bundle pack for the Nintendo Switch, and digital only on PC via Steam.
The game has also been optimized for both handheld and TV mode, but the press release is light on the specs, unlike CD Projekt Red who revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition would be running at 540p in handheld mode and 720p in TV mode.
From a tweet by the Spyro Universe account on Twitter we did learn that Spyro won’t just be appearing in Spyro Reignited Trilogy, but he will also be a guest star in Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, which is due out at the end of the month.
Summary of a announcements today:
• Spyro will be in CTR: Nitro Fueled
• Spyro Switch and PC port’s release on September 3rd.
• Banjo – Kazooie, Revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

So that’s multiple Spyro appearances on the Nintendo Switch across two different SKUs within the span of a single year.
I’m sure a lot of PC gamers are just happy that Spyro Reignited Trilogy wasn’t an Epic Games Store exclusive.
